Ben Update 10th September 2000
Ben is officially on the move. Here he is charging around Charles Fort in Kinsale, Ireland.
A boat cruise around the Killarney Lakes in Ireland was just an opportunity for Ben to test his sea legs.
He's also enjoying this romp at the Tower of London. The entrance to the Crown jewels is under the clock behind him.
We keep telling him it's too late for Sydney 2000. Still he dreams of the Olympics.
So he continues to train. This time flexibility exercises.
After a hard days yakka Ben likes his bottle. He's just about ready to fit back into Australian culture. I have to keep remembering not to give him my bottle!
Maybe, just maybe, he'll take on the Thorpedo before he retires.
